After dinner we got another bit of time with Debi and Darren so we could shoot some stuff in the orangery, before heading back inside for the first dance.ĭebi and Darren did an amazing job of organising their wedding in such a short time. With it being a more intimate wedding Darren had opted to have two groomsmen but didn’t have a best man so only Darren and his dad made speeches before dinner. Debi and Darren had purposely kept their numbers low so as they could spend as much time as possible with their nearest and dearest. Even though everything ran later than expected it was still a very chilled out wedding day. The very high sun on the day made photography difficult, but that’s okay we love a challenge and it was the sort of weather that most couples can only dream of having for a September wedding. Debi and Darren opted for a Humanist wedding ceremony which was performed by Claire Shearer. We have always loved outdoor ceremonies and outdoor wedding ceremonies at Larchfield Estate are magical. Once Debi arrived, we headed of for a very quick first look before the guys made their way to the gardens for the ceremony. Debi and the girls ended up being a lot later than we had thought, when this happens normally the groom goes into panic mode but Darren took it all in his stride and used the time to chat with his guests and enjoy a few pre-ceremony beers. We knew that Debi and the girls would probably be running a bit late so let Darren know when we arrived. With time marching on, we left the girls to it and headed off to Larchfield to meet up with Darren and his groomsmen. Unfortunately, sometimes getting ready can run a little longer than expected. They were all great fun and very excited for the day ahead. It was in their new home that we met up with Debi and her lovely bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding for getting ready. They only moved into their beautiful new home 6 weeks before the wedding. In the middle of their wedding planning, they also upped sticks and moved back home to Northern Ireland as well. Both their wedding ceremony and reception took place at the venue.ĭebi and Darren planned their wedding day in only a few short months, which is quite incredible really especially considering that when they first started planning their wedding they were still living in England at the time. Debi and Darren were married on the 24th of September at Larchfield Estate in Lisburn.
