The unspent moneys were just lumped together into the general pot. One note to consider: (at least when I set ours up many years ago) spending categories didn’t carry over unused funds from month to month in their own categories. We paid the extra $3 for the premium account so that my husband and I could sync across devices (via Dropbox). We LOVE Spending Tracker!!!
